Small beginnings.
Kitedale is an early project exploring family communication. This website offers Google registration, account review and a family dashboard. Approved guardians can create child profiles and manage their children’s accounts, guardians and contact permissions.
Your account
Google registrations start disabled and require administrator review. Administrators assign adult or child types, record adult approval and guardian relationships, and may enable, disable or delete website accounts. Each enabled, approved guardian can independently manage a linked child’s profile and approve or revoke contacts. Guardians and their linked children are automatically connected while both accounts are enabled and the adult is approved. Child–child contact requires approval for each child; one guardian managing both children can approve them together. Other child–adult contact requires only the child’s guardian or administrator approval. Google sign-in alone does not establish adulthood, guardianship or parental consent. Enabled, approved guardians may create child accounts with only a name and become their first guardian; children do not need a Google account. Each guardian may manage up to five linked children, including paused accounts and shared guardianships. Administrators can add accounts or guardian links above this limit. Administrators can also create profiles without Google sign-in.
Early access
The service is under development and may change or become unavailable. It is not an emergency service. Please arrange participation with the administrator who invited you; children should participate with their parent or guardian’s involvement.
Signing in uses Google’s authentication service and the data handling described in our privacy notice. For account questions, contact your inviting administrator.
